Services

Parc du Mont-Saint-Mathieu is a four-season, family-oriented resort in the Bas-Saint-Laurent, where good humour is always present.

We offer a wide range of services throughout the year, with comfort and safety always at the heart of what we do.

Commercial kitchen, cafeteria, a large dining room for skiers’ lunches or event hosting, drop-in daycare, après-ski area, patrol, rental shop, equipment maintenance, snow school, courteous staff… and more!

Designed by architect Carl Charron and built in 2012, the multifunctional chalet houses a ticket office, a rental shop and maintenance workshop, a snow school, an alpine club, a team of patrollers, an infirmary, a drop-in daycare for children, a cafeteria, the Agriscar bar, and a large glass room overlooking the mountain that can accommodate up to 300 people.

Relaxing by the fireplace after a day of outdoor fun is always a pleasure… With a beer, a glass of wine, or a flambéed coffee, not to mention the small dishes to share with friends, our bar is the ideal place to recount the day’s adventures. The giant screen is perfect for showing films featuring daring skiers and snowboarders.

The space is open every day the resort operates, and the bar is in service from 11:00 AM until you head home!

In the cafeteria, we offer two types of menus: a daily menu and a canteen menu.

The daily menu is worthy of a high-quality healthy restaurant, created and cooked on site to make your skiing experience unforgettable! The canteen menu is sure to please both your wallet and your taste buds. A convenience store section is also available to complement your meal.

All of this is served in a dining room with a magnificent view of the mountain.

Since families are very important to Parc du Mont-Saint-Mathieu and we want young people to discover and develop a love for winter, it was only natural for us to offer parents a break in case their children tire early… We want to contribute to a positive experience of the joys of winter sports!

For everyone’s benefit, Parc du Mont-Saint-Mathieu offers a free rest area for children, available to both regular visitors and day guests.

Children between 18 months and 8 years old can come warm up, have fun, and make new friends in a room specially designed for them. The Kwick Kwick Rest Stop is open Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM, as well as daily during the Christmas period, spring break, and Easter holiday, when applicable.

With same-day, on-site registration required, a maximum of 12 children can be admitted at a time, for a maximum stay of 2 hours.

The patroller team at Parc du Mont-Saint-Mathieu includes many accredited skiers and snowboarders with over 10 years of experience. Along with its newer members, the team performs essential and highly valued work. They are the ones who ensure the safe opening of the trails each day and, once the day is over, check that no one has been left on the mountain. During the day, patrollers assist guests to ensure their safety and compliance with regulations, helping make everyone’s experience enjoyable. They also take an active role in resort life by organizing BBQs and activities, all while doing what they love most: hitting the slopes!

The infirmary, located on the ground floor, provides first aid to those less fortunate.

Would you like to become a patroller or patrol assistant for the season? Write to us at operation@montstmathieu.com and we’ll explain how to proceed.

The snow school is made up of accredited instructors who are passionate about their favourite winter sport, whether skiing or snowboarding.

Whether in a group or individually, with family or friends, you can benefit from their experience to embrace winter, improve your skills, and reach a higher level of mastery.

Plan and purchase your lessons online, book your date and the instructor of your choice, and… go play outside!

The Mont St-Mathieu Alpine Club brings together more than forty young ski enthusiasts in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region. Its mission is to promote and support the development of competitive alpine skiing among youth. The club encourages a responsible and safe approach to the sport, while offering activities that foster skill development and progression.

Through structured training, athletes are prepared to participate in various competitions throughout the winter season.
