Designed for families, Parc du Mont-Saint-Mathieu is a four-season, multi-activity resort located in Les Basques, in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, halfway between Rivière-du-Loup and Rimouski, where good spirits are always present.

Ski resort in winter, the mountain offers a vertical drop of 222 meters across wooded terrain suitable for all levels of skiers and snowboarders.

Three modern lifts serve 29 trails, including one dedicated lift for beginners of all ages.

Several runs are partially or fully groomed. The mountain also features 12 natural glades for adventurers, a snow park expanded and modernized in 2022 for thrill-seekers, and two fun game courses designed for young children.

Two lanes are dedicated to tube sliding, and two trails are set up for alpine touring. In addition, 10 km of marked snowshoe trails can also be enjoyed as hiking trails during the summer.

All our slopes are a source of enjoyment for both casual “gliders” and adventure-seekers!

Our multifunctional chalet includes an equipment shop, a snow school, a catering service offering HEALTHY and QUICK menu options, an après-ski area, and inviting public spaces.

A varied mountain you never get tired of....

The West sector offers family-friendly slopes that are partially or fully groomed, ranging from easy to intermediate, as well as more advanced runs up to double-black-diamond. With its stuffed-animal tree, the SB-17 L’Invitante, known as the “soft underbrush,” is an accessible glade for beginners.

The East sector is known for its rocky cliffs and mixed difficulty levels. The numerous glades, formerly off-piste trails, are very popular and often appear in the photos of our proud visitors.

All the slopes offer enjoyment for both casual skiers or snowboarders, and the more adventurous!

The mountain’s popularity even extends to alpine hiking enthusiasts, who increasingly venture onto the snowshoe trails to enjoy the beautiful descents…

Our partner Premier Tech offers a track with landscaped ground designed to make module installation easier.

Generally open early in the season, it is accessible to both skiers and snowboarders.

Wearing a helmet is mandatory.

Rails, flatboxes, jumps, rainbows, turtles, and more!

Because before becoming an expert, you have to start somewhere, the training hill is available to beginners free of charge. The slope offers a 12% incline, making it ideal for a smooth and gentle introduction to snow sports. Our certified instructors offer introductory sessions, private lessons, and group classes.

Do you prefer hiking with climbing skins? Why not!

During the resort’s opening hours, you can take the snowshoe trail for a long ascent through nature or climb under the chairlift for a quick cardio boost.

Download the trail map below. Going up along the main slopes or skiing outside opening hours is not permitted.

If you’re too tired for the ascent but still have energy for the descent, we offer hybrid packages that give you access to the lift for one hour or an additional three hours. Contact the ticket office for more information on these packages.

Walkers can access the mountain’s hiking trails free of charge in any season, starting from the base of the mountain.

To start from the summit, you can take the chairlift, which operates once in the fall (dates vary) and in winter, one-way, for a hike beginning at the top.

In winter, snowshoeing enthusiasts are well served, as we offer free access to our marked 10 km network. Download the attached PDF for the map.

Several loops are available. Depending on your desired level of difficulty, you can choose from different routes and start your walk either from the base or from the summit.

Parc du Mont-Saint-Mathieu features two tube-sliding lanes. Enjoy a fun 130-meter descent, whether you’re on your own or with a group. Guaranteed fun for everyone, without the effort, thanks to our magic carpet lift.

A season pass gives you free access to the tube sliding area!

Please note that children under 3 feet (90 cm) must sit on a parent’s lap. This parent must also be accompanied by two other people during the descent.

The tube-sliding lanes are open on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as daily during spring break.
